Favorite Season | M4H Project 52 | Oklahoma Portrait Photographer

Taking a picture that sums up my favorite season while it is still around 90 degrees out here in Southern California was a challenge I wasn’t sure I wanted to attempt. I thought about going to Michael’s – they have all their fall stuff out – but that wasn’t real enough for me. So I cheated this week, I admit it! You may have guessed already though because how else did I get an image of real pumpkins? I dug through my images from my trip to Oklahoma last fall and while I had a few to choose from this was my favorite. A day trip to a local pumpkin patch was just too perfect to not have my camera along taking images just for myself. One big downfall of taking pictures for yourself is that you tend to forget about them and they usually never see the light of day. So for the sake of being real and ensuring these pumpkins see some light again, I am okay with my cheating this week 🙂 However I do know I won’t be making a habit of this, but honestly I could not have gotten anything close to this in the state that doesn’t know what seasons are. Looking forward to seeing what next week’s theme is sharing with y’all!
