Water | Theme Challenge | Southern California Photographer

Hello and welcome to May’s theme for the blog circle I take part in! The theme picked was water and I was super excited to get my ideas together for the theme. As usual my excitement came from trying to think outside of the box with the given theme and thanks to my husband I was able to do just that. He was nice enough to drop some strawberry’s for me while I pretty much laid down and shot these images. I am seeing so much positive coming from these challenges, I take a lot away from these and use them in my sessions, but they also are allowing me and making me shoot things I wouldn’t normally shoot. Thanks to the gloomy day’s we have been having I had to bump up my ISO pretty high resulting in quite a bit of grain, but for the most part I embrace it. With these images I really like the dark grainy edges compared to the pretty red strawberry and clear glass. So totally happy with these! Sure hope you enjoyed as well!

As usual hope over to Portland Oregon Photographer, Brooke Hazel of Dream Baby Photography for her vision of water. Follow through the links to make a circle!
